Site Analysis
This Boulder, Colorado remodel needed to direct water away from the home’s foundation. The landscape design needed to be both functional and pleasing to the eye. We incorporated channel drains, walls, and materials that have a dual function to direct water but also appeal to the updated look of the home.

To move the water around the house and away from the foundation »
- Along with the client remodeling the house and raising the foundation, we used channel drains, dry river beds, and French drains to catch the water and move it around the house
To make the remodel of the front yard fit in with the new aesthetics of the house »
- We added a clean and modern feel with poured concrete pavers, white brick walls, and a simple plant pallet
To increase overall curb appeal from the street »
- Added low-maintenance plants that would give various colors and textures against the house, plus a variety of colors for different seasons
To add a practical space to the backyard »
- We incorporated a lawn space for soccer as well as multiple seating areas for dining, lounging, and family gatherings
